Why UpNext

You've heard the stories. Maybe you've lived one.

  • The contractor who stops answering once the deposit clears.

  • The two-week job that's still going two months later.

  • The price that keeps climbing after the walls are open.

A remodel is stressful enough. A contractor's job is to take problems off your plate, not add new ones. That's the whole idea behind UpNext.

How we work

Four things you can count on.

You talk to the owner.

From the first text to the last day, you deal with me, Higor. One number, one person who knows your project.

Dates in writing.

Before any work starts, you get the start date and the schedule in writing.

No surprise costs.

A detailed written estimate up front. If something changes, you see the price and approve it in writing before that work is done.

A daily briefing, and an update for you.

Every work day starts with a briefing on site: what gets done today and what's needed. Every work day ends with a clean work area and a message to you: what got done, photos, and what's next.

Services

What we do best.

Something broke, or you're just done with how the place looks? Either way, here's where we come in.

Home Renovations & Remodeling

Room by room, or the whole home.

Updating a dated condo, reworking a layout, or bringing an older home up to how you live today. One contractor managing the whole job, start to finish.

Finish Carpentry & Custom Trim

The details people notice first.

Doors, baseboards, crown molding, casing, wainscoting and custom details. Trim is where you see who took their time.

Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

The rooms you use every day.

Cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures and finishes, planned so the room works better and the finish lasts.

About

I'm Higor. UpNext is my brand as contractor.

I came to the U.S. in 2016 and started in construction in 2019. For seven years I worked for other contractors across Massachusetts: framing, drywall, finish carpentry, painting and full renovations. I learned the trade on their job sites.

I also saw what makes homeowners lose their trust. Crews that show up late, or not at all. Job sites left a mess. Nobody answering the phone. Work rushed at the end, right where the details matter most.

In 2026 I opened UpNext Construction to do it the other way. The name is the idea: always the next level, every job better than the last.

When you hire UpNext, you get me. I answer my phone, I keep you posted, and the job isn't done until you're satisfied with it.
